The food is freshly prepared and tastes great! Reasonable prices and great service.

The Southern Gentleman may be the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Every component was amazing, not over-sauced (which is always a concern), and the texture of the bun held up to the juiciness of the ingredients. Loved every single bite.

I heard about this new place downtown that is making everything from scratch. Familiar comforting American food with a nice mix of delicious healthy salads, satisfying sandwiches and family meals to-go. After hearing such good things I had to give them a try. Being a busy working mom I picked a meal for two as take out for my birthday. Herb stuffing stuffed pork tenderloin, asparagus, scalloped potatoes and decadent lemon velvet cookies. We enjoyed our meal so much that for my husbands birthday a few weeks later I called the shop to see what they could offer up. We went with ribs, Mac and cheese, potato salad and Mount Everest cookies to go. As a mom of young kids it’s so much more relaxing to have a nice meal at home (as long as cobblestone does the cooking). My kids LOVED the Mac and cheese and so did I. The ribs were fall off the bone. And if you are a cookie lover- don’t even bother with any other baked goods downtown. Just come here and ask for a cookie. It will hit the spot every time! I can’t wait for our next family meal or lunch from cobblestone.

Terrific deli with anything you could possibly want for lunch. I’m a big soup lover, and they have the BEST soups. Their location is also great, tucked away on the beautiful cobblestoned Maiden Lane.

The food here is so good and the people are all extremely friendly! I tried the All American sandwich, freshly made chips, and mac & cheese, and it was all fantastic! I like that they make so much of the food in house, including the bacon, chips, and mac. I also got some cookies, and they were great, too! If I ever end up back in Albany, I’ll definitely be stopping by Cobblestone for lunch as often as I can.
